A personal best

Okay, okay, it's a downhill race, I know that very well. But today I set a personal best for the 10K distance and for this course, which I've done four times. I'll write up a race report later. Time? 40:04. But for the five seconds I now wish I pushed for, I'm on cloud nine.

Wow-good for you! Curious how congested it was at the finish chute for your class of runner. For my group (55 minutes) it was a case of going from running flat out to a total stop just after the finish, even without chip removal--that's a very bad thing to do from a cardiac perspective-a walking cool down is essential.
