Summertime

Yup, thought I'd mark the beginning of the summer, which falls on week 1, day three of the program, with a post. I run the Nightcrawler 5 miler at 7:15 p.m.. Bad thing is that it's calling for scattered showers tonight. Great. This will change a few things, like the fact that I'll have to figure out what I'm wearing in the rain. The second challenge is to fuel up properly during work, and to do a race after a long day at the office. Oh well, plan is to leave work at 5, and see how the weather goes...

Good luck on the run tonight!! It's thunder showers in Windsor too, supposed to last all day... hopefully this will clears up for your race. Is this race to celebrate the summer solstice? Really weird to have one on a Wed night!

I did my 1st 10K race last Saturday with a temperature of 35oC... really thought I was going to die! But I did it, 1:08:26 I'm really happy with my time! =) Thanks for the previous link to the half-marathon training shcedule.

Keep up the good work!

Thanks, i think i'll need it. And as of 5:40, I don't see any rain clouds, but you never know

Congrats on the run. That's crazy hot, I would hate racing under those conditions..
